This 9 Ball Pool game is a high-quality 3D simulation of the popular cue sport. Unlike 8-ball, the goal is to hit the lowest-numbered ball on the table first. You win by legally pocketing the 9-ball. The game features realistic physics, spin control, and AI opponents.
In 9 Ball Pool, the balls are numbered 1 through 9. On every shot, you must make contact with the lowest-numbered ball on the table first. If you pocket that ball, you continue shooting. If you pocket another ball (after hitting the lowest ball), you also continue shooting. The game is won by the player who legally pockets the 9-ball. This can happen at any time. For example, if you hit the 1-ball, and the cue ball then knocks the 9-ball into a pocket, you win. This makes for a fast and aggressive game.
Always think two shots ahead. Your goal is not just to sink the current ball, but to leave the cue ball in a good position for the next lowest ball. Use spin (English) to control the cue ball’s path after it makes contact. A little ‘top spin’ will make it follow the object ball, while ‘back spin’ will pull it back. Do not just slam the ball; power control is critical.
The controls for 9 Ball Pool unblocked are designed for precision.
Some versions may allow you to hold ‘Shift’ or ‘Ctrl’ for fine-tuning.
In 8-ball, players are assigned a group (solids or stripes) and must sink all of their group before pocketing the 8-ball. In 9-ball, all players shoot at the same balls in numerical order (1, 2, 3…) and the game ends as soon as the 9-ball is legally pocketed.
Most unblocked versions of 9 Ball Pool are player-vs-AI. However, some versions offer a ‘pass-and-play’ 2-player mode, where you and a friend take turns using the same mouse, similar to the 2-player mode in Basketball Stars.
