In Basket Champs, you first select a national team. You are then placed in a tournament bracket. Each match is a ‘first to 5’ or ‘best of 10’ shootout. On your turn, you must set the power and angle of your shot. You do this by holding the mouse button; a power meter goes up and down, and your player moves left and right for angle. You must release the button at the perfect moment. After your shot, the AI takes its turn. The first player to score the required number of baskets wins the match and advances in the tournament.
