The House of Hazards game is a chaotic, physics-based multiplayer game. Players control ragdoll characters trying to complete simple tasks around a house. The catch is that other players control the ‘hazards’ (toasters, faucets, chandeliers) to try and stop them.
There are two roles. One player is the ‘Homeowner’ and must complete tasks, like making coffee or watering a plant. The other players are the ‘Hazards’. They control various objects in the house and must time their activation to knock out the Homeowner. Players take turns in each role. The player who completes the tasks fastest (or survives longest) wins.
As the Homeowner in House of Hazards unblocked, be paranoid. Assume every object is a trap. Wait for a hazard to ‘fire’ (like the toaster) before running past it. As a Hazard, timing is everything. Do not just spam your trap. Wait for the player to be right on top of it for a perfect hit.
The controls are intentionally clumsy, adding to the physics-based humor.
It is a blast to play with friends on one keyboard.
No, it is designed to be a multiplayer party game. While you can play against AI, the game truly shines when you are actively trying to sabotage your friends (and they are sabotaging you) in the same room.
They both use ragdoll physics, but in different ways. Stickman Ragdoll Crash Fun is a sandbox about maximizing damage. House of Hazards is a competitive game about avoiding damage while completing objectives.
