The Neon War game is a visually spectacular, fast-paced arcade shooter. Inspired by classic games like Geometry Wars, players control a small ship in a single-screen arena. The goal is to survive as long as possible against endless waves of colorful, geometric enemies.
You control your ship with one set of controls and fire your weapon with another (twin-stick shooter). Enemies spawn in waves and move in different patterns. When destroyed, they drop ‘geoms’ (currency or points). You must collect these to increase your score and multiplier. Power-ups also appear, granting temporary shields, faster firing, or drone support.
Movement is life in Neon War unblocked. Never stop moving. Try to move in wide circles around the arena to ‘herd’ enemies into groups, then cut through them. Do not be too greedy for geoms; risking your life for a small score increase is not worth it. Prioritize destroying the most dangerous enemies first.
The game uses a classic twin-stick control scheme, playable on a keyboard.
This scheme allows you to move in one direction while shooting in another.
The only objective is to get the highest score. It is a pure arcade ‘chase’ game. You play until you are destroyed, and then you try to beat your own score.
Neon War is a single-player, retro-style arena shooter. Nightpoint io is a multiplayer, top-down zombie shooter with RPG elements like leveling up and finding new weapons. Neon War is about reflexes, while Nightpoint is about survival and strategy.
